This world is full of lies led by self-stained eyes
These eyes are oh so blind,
by the views that others find
Lifting man to be most high,
breaking down God's holy tie
But when I look out to see
how other people look at me
I only want their view of me to be a view of you

This world God has begotten though
now has been forgotten
The Prince for now will lead,
with self-indulgence as first need
Making God's law to be forbidden,
attempting to make God's glory hidden
But on that day when Jesus comes
and all are on one knee
