Since childhood, Scripture memory has been woven into my life—through Christian school, Sunday school, and even at home with a little plastic loaf of bread filled with verse cards. The funny thing is, I’ve never had a great memory. And as my health declined with thick brain fog, memorizing only became harder.
But in God’s kindness, He’s used that weakness to keep me leaning on Him—helping me take in His Word through hearing, reading, studying, memorizing, meditating, praying, and singing.
Along the way, I noticed others who struggled too—or simply wanted someone to memorize with. So I began helping individuals, then small groups, hide God’s Word in their hearts together. That’s what this blog is about.
What you’ll find here: A reflection on a verse or verses, a verse image, a prayer, and maybe a song. I will possibly share a prayer for an upcoming event.
May all and any of what is written here help us live God’s Word in our everyday lives. To Abide.
