Some kinds of people are sitting at a desk
Sighting great success through the day
Other people are sitting in distress
Searching for their life's true way
Whether life is good or they're tears of dismay
God's children need to look beyond just today
We need to hear, we need to see
We need to listen to our Lord
To know the big picture
We need to know our God, to taste His peace
To thirst His Word that is the key
We need to seek His will,
let His Spirit fill our hearts
So we can know the big picture
All kinds of people can let their minds release
Drawing straws to choose their life's way
But only God's children have a peace
