Hey All!
I am so thankful to share that we had a wonderful vacation! I asked for prayer for energy and strength and blessings for our family time, and God answered with a resounding, “Yes!” I felt everyone’s prayers!
Our trip to Disney World was surreal. To be able to have four generations travel together—sharing memories throughout the years and making new ones—was a blessing.
Our last night, for dinner, we went to the 50’s Prime Time Cafe. The waitress left us saying something about being glad we had a family reunion. That impacted me with the reality of the blessing that we get to live with each other all summer. I savor that blessing from the Lord!
My parents said a number of times how amazing it was to be able to be at Disney with their great-grandchildren. God is so good in this to us!
We have some church family who have just had their daughter go home to be with Jesus after a battle with cancer. I thought about Kylie and her family a lot this week, remembering Facebook posts of her delight at Disney. Each time she came to mind, I would pray for her family.
This gave me such an eternal perspective while away. May God use conversations we had to continue to impact us and those we connected with for Jesus Christ, for His glory. May our legacy in Him shine brightly.
