Event Update!
The Battle4Children Charities event went beautifully! Thank you for your prayers. We felt them! I had moments while singing when stray thoughts of distraction would come and then the Holy Spirit would take over and keep the music and the truths from the word in the lyrics flowing.
I as well as three others shared our personal testimonies of how God has brought hope and healing after being sexually abused as children. I believe it was a powerful opportunity given from the Lord of expression in vulnerability, in honesty, in raising awareness of the crisis, as well as in giving the answer in Jesus. May the seeds planted be watered, grow, and reap a harvest, in the name of Jesus, for his awesome glory!
One Extra Praise!
There is one more thing I want to give praise for that those close to me have been reminding me of. Last year at this time I was still in a wheel chair when leaving the house. I did not use a wheelchair once this weekend and really only needed it a few times over the summer. Praise the Lord!
