Praise God it went well with the Wildwood Boardwalk Chapel concert!
People often would walk more slowly, looking in while we were worshiping in song and sharing. Some would stop and listen, a few came in and sat down, and others would go and talk to the teams standing by, passing out tracts or holding up signs that said things like “Are you going to heaven? Free Test” or “How can I pray for you?”
One Jewish woman sat on a bench to listen. She called to one of the team members, Karen, to come and speak with her. She said how the singing captivated her and she had to stay and listen.
The two ended up having a lengthy conversation about all sorts of topics. God really handpicked who Jane spoke with, too—Karen has a number of friends who are Jewish and is familiar with Jews for Jesus and was able to direct her that way for further connection.
May God connect Jane to exactly whom he wills, and may she and her communities she is tied to come to know Jesus and follow him all of their days!
The gospel was shared a couple of times during the concert, too. May the seeds planted take root in good soil and bear abundant fruit in the name of Jesus!
9/11 Ceremony
It was a blessing to participate in this 9/11 Ceremony to honor the lost and the brave on a day that changed our lives forever. May God be our hope in it all, in the name of Jesus.
